报告人简介
Dr Yuan
received his PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China in 1997. He is currently working at Institute for Infocomm Research
，
A*STAR
，
as a scientist. His research interests include computer graphics and computer vision, machine learning, augmented reality and cognitive robotics. He has published 50+ peer-reviewed scientific research papers. Recently, his group’s work on cognitive mapping and navigation on mobile robot platform has been widely reported by MIT Technology Review and ScienceDaily etc.
